The Mount George General Store and Liquor Supplies is conveniently located in the hinterland of the north coast of New South Wales near Wingham and Taree. Taree is less than a three hour drive north of Sydney (Hornsby) on the Pacific Highway. The area is known as the 'beautiful Manning Valley'.

Mount George

Mt George has a population of around 400 people. Whilst the Mount George General Store is the only shop in the main street, there is a gallery, a sawmill and a number of agricultural and tourism related business in the nearby vicinity. Mount George is also the gateway to many popular national parks which attract tourists from far and wide. This market is captured as the Mount George General Store is their last stop.
